NEW CLOTHES

Parker loves sun glasses and hats. But most of all he loves jackets

Matching shoes

they are so cute! Ryder is a slobber monkey!

Being away from the boys was actually pretty easy. I was excited to see them. Right when I got home I showed Parker is big bouncy ball that I bought for him..first thing he does is throw it at Ryder's head....It was almost like the vacation was a distant memory right at that moment. Skylar kept the house pretty clean and even did some laundry although I told him NOT to. He did so well with the boys. Parker only went into time-out twice the whole weekend, And Ryder has only been eating once at night. So I have an awesome husband. He didn't even ask how much I spent. even though I told him he was way cool with it. It made me realize how cool he really is. I am counting down the days till next years trip...Park City here we come. Only a 362 and some odd days to go!

PARK CITY 4/2008

Me, Mer, Lisa, Sarah @ that Marriott hot tub

Me and Sarah @ lunch

This is the best store in the whole world, I love the gray bag Sarah is holding. I wish I would have bought it...Only 70 dollars..and so worth it.

Me and Mer @ the pub for dinner..We spent five hours there eating and talking. It was great.

We took like a million pics like this before we ordered so the waitress kept having to come back...we wanted to get it just right.

Me, Sarah, Mer, and Lisa went to Park city the 25-27Th of April. It was a girls weekend out and all the husbands stayed home with the kids..imagine that! We had a blast. Just being immature girls again if only for a moment. P.S. sorry to the guy across the hall in the hotel. We went to the outlets and spent Way to much $, and we ate at amazing little local restaurants. We went down town and walked main street. We are starting this as a once a year event, so start saving your money. Just kidding it really wasn't to bad splitting gas and a room it was all worth it. We were sad that Lisa had to leave early, I hope she had fun. we ah really got up close and personal with each other if you know what I mean(no not like that prev) I made friends with Sarah and found that I really like her and enjoy her company. I have been friends with Mer for 13 years and we got to remember all the good times in Jr. high, high school, and college.

RYDER

JUST OVER SIX MONTHS...

He is such a sweet baby!

What's up guys?

He loves to give things kisses...He grabbed my face the other day pulled it in and kissed me. He even did the kiss sound:)-

They ran out of truck band aids, so he got barbie instead. They asked me if that was okay, what is I would have said no, would they have ran out and got some?

He was pretty upset at the whole ordeal.

At Ryder's six month appointment he weighted...drum roll please.. 19 lbs 12 oz. 29 in. 115% for height, 85% for weight. His Dr. is pretty impressed and says he will be a big kid for sure, much bigger then Parker who is also off the charts for height. At six months Parker was 28 in. and 18 lbs. 4.5 oz. What can I say He's a growin boy. This kid is huge. you don't even understand the magnitude of his body until you see him in person. His thighs dominate his whole body! When I am feeding him his solids right when the spoon leaves his mouth he freaks out. You basically are shoveling food into his mouth. Of course I do not do this I make him wait every time, but you get the point.

So my good friend Merrilee has inspired me to read my twilight series once again..and I must say they are even better the second time around.

So I am absolutely excited for this weekend! Park city or bust is all I have to say.....Okay it's not like its that far but it's going to be awesome. I am going to try to not worry about the boys, we all know that's not going to happen. But I needs this so bad!

MY BOYS!

Parker LOVES Ryder
he gets so mad if someone besides me or Skylar holds him

Parker put on his cars underwear and shoes...He was so proud of himself because they match. He is so into if things match and he gets so upset if you mess up his hair when you put his shirt on. Skylar is a little worried by this..

What a handsome little man!

Ryder in his 24 months clothes. He no longer fits in 18 months the length is just right but they are so tight around the waist..even if they are draw string! His nick name is tubba lubba.

WARM SPRING DAY

Goodbye best friend!
we put Moo outside a few days ago have not seen her since..Ryder will miss his friend!

Ryder six months old and 20 LBS 29 in. according to his preemie nutritionist. We will compare it to Mckennas on Thursday, they are always different.

Spring clean up! Skylar and Lance cutting down our super ugly tree!!

Parker helping them haul away the branches.

Parker giving mom and Ryder a ride.

Parker loves his new helmet.

So now that it warmed up for like two days, it snowed like crazy today!!! GRRR. I want it to be warm so that I can take the boys to the park and go on walks to get ice cream, and snow cones. Ryder loves the outdoors just like Parker, I can't wait till they are able to play more together. well scratch that I can wait, but when it does happen it will be so much fun to watch.

PARKER AND THE BIG QUESTION....

So lately Parker has been asking a lot of questions, questions that I was hoping would not be asked until he was five or six. Yes those kind of questions! He wants to know why he has one and what it is used for, and why is there a lot more skin on the bottom and not on the top. Where the heck is he getting these things?!!! So I told him it is for going potty and explained the whole process of drinking and it going through our bodies in hopes that he would take that and be happy with the answer. Boy was I wrong!! So I continued and I explained the process of circumcision, the religious aspect of it and the cleanliness, stuff that I thought would be way over his head. Once again I was wrong. Maybe I went a little to far, because he started asking about mamas. That's when I said it is different then yours and I will explain more later and gave him some fake teeth to play with so he would focus on something else. So his new thing is going potty and saying we don't drink our pee-pee or poo-poo. I guess it's good that he knows this since I never thought to tell him that at any point in the potty training process. Who would think to tell their child something like that?

Anyways I am taking Ryder to get his six month pictures and we are doing a family photo as well. The best place that I have found is kiddie kandids. Mackley photography is to expensive and Skylars aunt used to be Mackleys business partner, she is the one that did all of our wedding stuff. When we first had Parker she told us that we can go to Idaho falls anytime and she will take pictures in her studio. We ended up doing it when Parker was first born and got tons of awesome pictures, but have not been back since. I really want to take the boys up there. So I guess my question is have you guys found a good places in Logan that works well with kids (like Parker)? If so let me know.

SOLEMN ASSEMBLY

For the first time in thirteen years we will have a new Prophet. On Saturday April 5, we will sustain President Tomas S. Monson as the 16TH President of the church. And for the first time in twenty five years president Hinckley will not be there...at least physically.

I am so excited to sustain our new prophet in the Solemn Assembly tomorrow. Each church organization, from the highest leadership circles to youth groups, will be asked to stand and raise their hands. I will be doing this from my living room while having the best view of everything. I look forward to standing up in my home and sustaining him. I do however wish that I could be at attendance in the conference center and make history.

During the last few years of president Gordan B. Hinckleys life he was extremely focused on building temples. Be them large or be them small, so that many more members of the church would have a chance to go and do the many ordinances that otherwise wouldn't have been able to be accomplish. I believe he will always be remembered for this.

What will President Monson focus on, I think that he will continue the legacy of the late Prophet, but I also think he has a lot of wonderful things in store for us all. I am wondering if there will be any changes, that god has saved for President Monson to share with us.

A few months ago Monson said that there will be no abrupt changes in the church, I am curious to see the little ones. I hope to always remember this conference so that I may reflect back on it many years from now and be able to see how President Monson has grown as he becomes more settled as prophet of the only true church on this Earth.

We will not only sustain Monson this conference but many more people including the 1ST and 2ND counselors that will be by his side. Hope that we will all be watching and support our new Prophet by sustaining him in this great calling tomorrow.
